From 2 until 11 June 2018, the Bingham Cup, the world championships of gay and inclusive men's and women's rugby, will be held in Amsterdam and Amstelveen, the Netherlands. We’re expecting a whopping 2,500 LGBTQ+ rugby players, staff, supporters and visitors from all over the world to join us.
You can also be part of the Bingham Cup by becoming a volunteer! Volunteer assignments include help with on-site registration, supporting visiting teams while they’re here, supporting the management of several social events, setting up and running the tournament venue in Amstelveen and lending a hand with catering, security, traffic, cleaning and much more.
What's in it for you? First of all: a once-in-a-lifetime Bingham Cup experience. And also: food, drinks, a volunteer outfit and free entry to the sparkling Bingham Cup Closing Party at the Beurs van Berlage.
So if you can help us out for 1, 2 or even more days between 2 and 11 June 2018 (but especially on the game days of 8, 9 and 10 June) please sign up by creating your own Bingham Cup Volunteer Account here.
If you already have a Volunteer Account, you can log in here to manage your assignments.
How to manage volunteer assignments
After you have logged in into your Volunteer Account, you can click on the 'Sign-up' button or on the 'MySchedule' tab, choose a date you want to work as a volunteer and click on the orange 'Help wanted' button. Then you will see a list of all assignments we need help for on that day.
If you want to see an overview of all volunteer assignments you can click on the 'Sign-up' button or on the 'My Schedule' tab. In the blue field on top of the page there is a pull-down showing all assignments.
In connection with the costs involved in volunteering we would like to ask you to sign up for a minimum of 2 assignments.
