Men's & Women's Tournaments

Bingham Cup Amsterdam 2018 will host tournaments for both Men’s and Women’s teams.

Men's Tournament

Players and teams in the Men’s Tournament must be part of a member club of International Gay Rugby (IGR). At Bingham Cup Amsterdam 2018 there will be 70 teams (sides) competing across three tiers: the Challenger Division, the Hoagland Cup Division and the Bingham Cup Division. The IGR Tournament Liaison Committee will allocate all registered male players to teams (consisting of players from one or more IGR clubs), divide the teams across tiers, and seed the teams within each tier. The draw to divide the teams in each tier across pools will take place on Monday 4 June 2018. Tournament days are Friday 8, Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June 2018. All teams will play a minimum of 5 matches and a maximum of 6, producing a final for each group of 4 competing teams, with the Bingham Cup Final being played by the top two teams of the Bingham Cup Division in the afternoon of Sunday 10 June 2018.
